In the Middle Ages, wars and fighting occurred regularly. Over time, enough armor was added so that knights were covered from head to toe. The helmets worn made identifying a knight impossible. In order to avoid being mistakenly attacked by a friend, each knight wore a cloth with an exclusive painted design over his suit of armor. This design was called a Coat of Arms. A Coat of Arms consists of: a shield, such as the one the knight would carry into battle, a crest that was usually an animal sitting above the shield and a motto if one existed.
Our Coat of Arms or Blazen is available in three styles; Single, Double and Combined. We print your Blazen on fine quality Ivory Parchment paper in Full Color. Couples can choose to get a Double Blazen, we take both Last Names and print your Blazen together side by side, or we can combine both Blazens for a Keepsake you will both
be proud to display. You have the option of changing the text on the print, keep the standard Last Name and Motto or use your First and last Name.
Your Country of Origin is needed to help match your last name, since some names have multipal origins. We have a Large database of names, there may be some names that will not be in our databse. If your name is not found, we will notify you via E-Mail.
